Description

Agency (AGCY)

Maintains detailed information pertaining to an agency

Agency Type (AGTY)

Maintains description categories assigned to agencies

Award Status (AWDS)

Maintains the status codes that can be assigned to an award to indicate where it is in the granting process

Catalog of Federal Domestic Assistance (CFDM)

Maintains the information pertaining to a Catalog of Federal Domestic Assistance (CFDA) Reference number

Grant Description (GDES)

Maintains the information pertaining to the type of agreement awarded to the institution. This information is primarily used with external sponsoring agencies.

Instrument Type (INST)

Maintains the instrument types that can be assigned to define the funding method for an award.

Letter of Credit Fund Group(LFGR)

Groups LOC funds together so that one Letter of Credit draw can be processed for multiple LOC funds and maintains information pertaining to the various federal line of credit funds that may be associated with an award. It is primarily used with external sponsoring agencies.

Letter of Credit Fund (LOCF)

Maintains information pertaining to the various federal line of credit funds that may be associated with an award.

Proposal Purpose(PURP)

Identifies the type of work a project represents, such as Instruction or Research.

Proposal Status (PRST)

Maintains a list of categories that can be assigned to proposals to indicate where it is in the granting process.

Proposal Type (PATY)

Specifies categories that can be assigned to proposals and awards to indicate whether they are new or are related to a previous project

Research Risk Type (RRT)

Specifies types of risks involved with Contracts & Grants documents (for example, human subjects or hazardous materials).

Sub-Contractor (SUBC)

Maintains the detailed information pertaining to a subcontracting institution.
