Agency
The Agency document contains detailed identifying information pertaining to an agency. A previously non-existing agency can be added to the table and information for an existing agency can be updated. The Agency document deals with external sponsoring agencies for many Contracts & Grants activities.
When Contracts & Grants Billing is turned on the Agency
document can be used to create new AR customers and is used by Contracts &
Grants Billing to associate an AR Customer number with an Agency to facilitate
invoice generation. Additionally, the Agency contains information related to
collection activities.
