The Proposal/Award Close document includes the Close tab. This tab includes Perform Close and Close Information sections.

Close on or before

Enter the date chosen as the threshold for closing proposals and awards or select it from the calendar.

When the close process runs all proposals with a Submission Date and without a Close Date and all awards with an Entry Date and without a Close Date is closed if their Submission/Entry date is equal to or earlier than this date.

Date Closed

Enter the date the close process should take place or select it from the calendar.

Close Information Section tab field definitions

Title	Description
Award Records Closed	Display-only. Displays the number of Awards closed by the last close process.
Date of Last Close	Display-only. Displays the date on which the last close activity occurred for Awards and Proposals.
Proposal Records Closed	Display-only. Displays the number of Proposals closed by the last close process.
